Patrick Rulore’s solo exhibition, Stage 4 Moments further explores a conversation that he initiated in 2019 when he won SASOL New Signatures Art Competition.Patrick Rulore’s solo exhibition, Stage 4 Moments further explores a conversation that he initiated in 2019 when he won SASOL New Signatures Art Competition with a work that articulated the effects of load shedding in our society. In this interview our conversation explores how he arrived at a varied compositional arrays of paintings that sees him moving his discourse outside of the home interior setting to the outside world; therein articulating various sources of light such as the moon, firewood and the cell phone.
