In this interception I have a conversation with Navel Seakamela about his exhibition at Nel Gallery, Cape Town, which was part of the August House // Cape Town Collab – A Cultural Exchange during July and August this year. This event comes to a close on Saturday 28 August. Initiated by curator Carlyn Strydom, META Foundation Director Sara Hallatt and Artist Vivien Kohler the cultural exchange saw 13 artists based at August House, Johannesburg, featured in galleries across Cape Town CBD. My conversation with Morena Seakamela traces the conception of the work featured at Nel Gallery, his thoughts on his art practice and his journey as an artist through the past two years.

Featured Work
I would like to thank Morena Navel Seakamela for creating the space for us to have a conversation. Also, I would like to express my appreciation to META Foundation for suggesting that I pursue this interview.
