This podcast is a follow up to the interview I conducted with Andrea du Plessis in 2021 when she became SASOL New Signatures 2021 Overall Winner with her work Paloceae Lupantoza. Part of the art prize was for her to create a body of work that would be presented at the Pretoria Art Museum at this year’s edition of the New Signatures art competition. Our conversation map-out the journey towards her conceptualization and realization of the work that was presented in her solo exhibition entitled Supernature: Simulacra.
